It is unquestionably more interesting to provide non-verbal cues like blinking and brow movement that are more realistic”.

Users will be able to communicate and work together as if they were physically present while using the quest pro. In order to enable gamers to stream hundreds of high-quality Xbox games to smartphones, tablets, PCs, some smart TVs, and the meta quest platform, Microsoft and meta are also looking into ways to bring Xbox cloud gaming to the meta quest store. Jeff Teper, head of Microsoft collaborative apps and platforms stated that Microsoft 365 apps will be available on meta quest devices. Enabling individuals to interact with material from their favorite productivity apps like word, excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint within VR. Meta’s quest pro is unlike anything else we have seen from the company. The area that covers your face is smaller than in previous models. Instead of a matte white surface with a sensor in each corner. The face plate is glossy black with three visible sensors around the eyes and another on either side. The rest of the headset is mostly of black matte plastic. The top of the headset slides upward, sitting gently against the user’s forehead to cover the light entrance. However, if the light becomes too much, there are magnetic partial light blockers. Although, full blockers will be on sale later this year.

The controllers are 5.4 ounces and 5.1 x 2.8 2.4 inches in size. They are heavier than the previous model which is 4.4ounces, 3.5 x 4.7 inches. They house a Qualcomm snapdragon 662 mobile processor, three sensors, and a rechargeable battery in each device. The new technology sure enhances hand-tracking technology. They can track themselves in a 3D world independently of the headset thanks to their own CPU and sensors that enable a full range of motion. It also features a sound hepatic system via meta’s TruTouch hepatics system.

With low lighting, the quest pro’s pair of LCD displays 1800 x 1920 resolution for each eye. Therefore it is 37% more pixels per inch and 10% more pixels per degree. Sophisticated dimming technology controls the LED blocks separately. Meta’s quest pro provides 75% more contrast and deeper colors. It also has a 25% gain in enhanced field visual clarity on the central view. It is 1.3x broader in the color spectrum and provides 50% more in the peripheral region.

The meta’s quest pro incorporates a lens spacing adjustment mechanism to adjust for inter-pupillary distance which is crucial for optimal viewing because the incorrect IPD might result in visual distortion that makes users ill. The quest pro adjustable range is 55mm-75mm. Though it may seem insignificant, the latest measurement will increase the headset’s usability for a wider range of users.
